KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth chief Miro Simuh has challenged Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice president Ali Biju to list out the federal projects which the federal government had problems implementing in Sarawak.
“Did Ali Biju speak with facts or was it just merely a hearsay? He must be responsible for what he said.
“Rather than cancelling projects and coming out with accusations and rhetorical statements, Ali just as his PKR Sarawak chairman Baru Bian, should concentrate on fighting for more big projects for Sarawak,” added Miro, who is also the Serembu assemblyman.
He said Baru, as the Federal Works Minister, should use his position to fight for projects in Sarawak.
“I hope the rakyat will give them a good lesson in the coming state election,” he said.
On Sunday, at the PKR Sarawak branch annual general meeting, Ali said the federal government was sincere in helping the people, especially in the rural areas. But he claimed that the state government was not helpful and made it difficult for the federal government to implement its development projects.
