KUCHING: In a stunning display of talent, Dion Das Louis, popularly known as Little Borneon Birdie, has clinched the gold medal at the Grand Final Malaysian Championship of Performing Arts 2024 in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Excelling in the junior dance category, Dion’s performance was a fusion of traditional and modern styles, aptly titled “Ethnic Contemporary Dance” which drew inspiration from the traditional Burung Ruai and Ngajat dances.
Following this achievement, Dion will represent Malaysia at the prestigious World Championship of Performing Arts 2024 in Long Beach, California, in the United States.
