KUCHING: State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang went to the two locations yesterday morning to hand over grants to assist SK Sg Stutong and Kpg Stampin Baru for their activities.
He said although the grant amount was minimal, he would try to help as he had emphasised that the grants were meant for Batu Kitang constituency.
He hoped that what was given yesterday would be put to good use.
Lo pointed out that the two areas, SK Sungai Stutong and JKKK Stampin Baru are under Sentosa but looking at their torn roofs and terrible state of their houses, Lo said he felt obliged to reach out to do his little bit.
He said even though the areas are not under the BN, he said those in dire needs would be assisted. He hoped that the rakyat there would understand his limitation to help out.
