KUCHING: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tadika Sri Keria Kuching and Seoul Youngjae Childcare Centre during a visit to Guro City Childcare Centres on April 3, 2018.

Chan revealed that the MoU was signed to further promote friendship and goodwill as well as exchange of and cooperation for child education which involves technology and educators.
“The visit was more to new ideas for education for our young children as we can learn that Korean childhood education is based on hands-on which is a little bit different from us here and it was a good visit to other country education centre as we can also learn how they motivate their children in education,” he said during a press conference at MBKS building here yesterday.
He also said that the visit has allowed the educators to incorporate some ideas at their present schools.
Meanwhile, according to Chairman of Tadika Sri Keria Kuching Ain Nessa Mohamad Morshidi who signed the MoU with Principal of Seoul Youngjae Childcare Centre Lee Wol Rye, the Korean visit was an eye-opener for them.
“We could see how the Koreans highly emphasise on their ethics and discipline in their daily lives since young.
“From all the kindergartens/elementary/high school we visited, we were all impressed by the education system they have enforced in their school as they also focus on the importance of the environment, especially when we visited the kindergarten, we saw the teachers’ efforts in trying to educate the children on the importance of the environment in various ways.
“So from the visit Tadika Sri Keria will enforce new updated innovative learning system, as our vision and mission is to upgrade and improvise the children’s learning experience and provide more exposure so they can have the basic foundation to be the best they can in all their future undertakings,” Nessa pointed out.
