BAU: A 28-year-old man sustained injuries following a self-accident along Jalan Bau – Batu Kawah Pan Borneo, near Taman Vision Height this morning (Sep 20).

The man who drove his Proton Saga had accidently hit the road divider.

The Bau Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at 1.58 pm, and a team was dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the team found the driver, conscious and complaining of pain at his back spinal region.

The rescue personnel swiftly administered first aid, securing the victim with a cervical collar and KED Medical Device. The victim was then carefully extricated from the car via the back door.

After ensuring the safety of the scene, the victim was handed over to the Ministry of Health (MoH) officer for further treatment.
