MUKAH: The Simpang Bukut Health Clinic at Jalan Selanggau Mukah was declared open recently, much to the delight of local residents and the surrounding areas.

Built at a cost of almost RM5.6 million, the project belonged to the Ministry of Health Malaysia and implemented by the Public Works Department.

The main contractor was Akjaemura Jaya Sendiri Berhad started work on the project in 2017 and it was fully completed in January 2020.

This clinic brings a lot of relief to the local residents as they don’t have to go far for minor ailments. Although completed in 2020, it has only been used for vaccination and will be fully operational on March 1. For this I thank the government.

The clinic is very useful because it a maternity ward, comfortable parking spaces, an emergency area, checkpoints, and comfortable quarters. Thanks to the government for building it. I like it because it is located the near boundary of my constituency

On behalf of my people, I thank the government for having built the clinic. It gives some convenience to the local people. They don’t have to travel to Selangau or Mukah for treatment like before.
