KUCHING: Villagers of Kampung Boyan here which is under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) received food aid from Santubong MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
According to Santubong Service Centre Special Officer Halimatun Aliffah, the food aid consists of two chickens, vegetables, two trays of eggs, two-pack of sausages, two kilograms of cooking oil and two packs of biscuits.
She said the village has 76 families and 60 houses, and each family received food aid, worth RM100 each, enough to last during the lockdown period.
Kampung Boyan was identified as a community cluster by the State Health Department after 19 positive cases were detected at the village.
The village has been under lockdown imposed under the EMCO from May 21 until June 3.
