KUCHING: The Lodge Kindergarten, together with the SGH Blood Bank, held a successful blood donation drive last Saturday (Aug 5) here.

This initiative formed an integral part of the Lodge Group of Schools’ Platinum Jubilee celebration, reflecting their unwavering commitment to education and social welfare.

With the school hall as the backdrop, the event drew an impressive participation of 84 eager blood donors, comprising a diverse mix of individuals, including parents, former students, and concerned members of the public.Operating from 9am to 2pm, the drive culminated in the

collection of a significant 69 pints of blood.

Lodge Group of Schools director Su Hiong Ai expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the collective efforts of school principals, dedicated teachers, and staff who tirelessly worked to bring the drive to fruition.

“The unwavering support of parents and students was pivotal in the event’s success,” he said, also extending his gratitude to the committed working committee led by Chai Kui Siew.

The event’s success was made possible by the generosity of the blood donors themselves, as well as the sponsors who contributed both financial support and in-kind donations.
