KUCHING: Lodge National Primary School recently held a charity food drive to help underprivileged families.
Various food items were donated by the school’s teachers and pupils to a local non-governmental organisation (NGO), Hope Place.
According to a statement by Hope Place, 470 students of Primary One to Primary Six and 46 teachers took part in the charity event.
The school’s headmistress Phang Cheng Ling handed over the contribution to the founder of Hope Place, Kelvin Wan.
Among food items that were collected were packets of rice, biscuits, noodles, and canned food.
Hope Place expressed its gratitude to the school pupils and teachers who contributed and organised the charity event.
