MUKAH: The frequent long queue of people waiting to claim their parcels purchased via online shopping at Pos Malaysia Berhad (POS) here lately has raised doubt over its delivery service.
As online shopping is getting popular here for the past few months, the number of customers coming to POS daily to claim their parcels also increases.
A check by New Sarawak Tribune yesterday found that there was a long queue of people waiting for their turns to be served at the counters.
A lady in her 20’s, who preferred anonymity, said she arrived and joined the queue at 9am.
“I have been waiting for my turn for over one hour,” she said.
According to her, she was requested by POS to come over as her parcel was big.
In the queue, she was standing somewhere in the middle with about 30 more customers.
On the other hand, it was found that only two workers were handling the parcel claims, while the quantity of parcels inside the premises was big.
