SIBU: A total of 120 residents from ten longhouses at Nanga Tutus, along Batang Igan near here turned up for their Covid-19 booster shots on Monday (Nov 15).

The vaccination centre, set up at SK Nanga Tutus, was manned by staff from the Sibu Health Department.

The programme was organised by Senator Robert Lau at the request of residents from the longhouses.

The first and second dose vaccination for this area was also organised by Lau and carried out at the same place in July and early August respectively.

Lau said the next vaccination programme would be at Rantau Panjang on Nov 19.

He appealed to those who are eligible and yet to receive their third dose to turn up to be vaccinated.
