MIRI: Following a week of heavy rainfall, two longhouses in Beluru, Rumah Ruang Sungai Nat and Rumah Awat Sungai Nat, have been submerged under floodwaters.
The Miri Civil Defence Force (APM), which conducted flood monitoring in the area, reported that the water levels at both longhouses reached approximately two feet.

Despite this, the roads leading to these longhouses remain open, although they are slippery and pose a risk to vehicles.
Villagers are being urged to stay alert and consider evacuating to safer, higher ground should the flood situation worsen.
