KUCHING: Two longhouses in Sri Aman have received Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) fund of RM50,000 each for their repair. 

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) said in a news report yesterday that Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang  presented the cheques to Rumah Francis Dublin, Selanjan Angkong Asal and Rumah Igoh, Selanjan Jalong on Sunday (Jan 9).

He also presented a cheque of RM10,000 each to the Rumah Francis Dublin’s Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) and its Women’s Bureau.

The JKKK of Rumah Igoh, Selanjan Jalong and the Women Bureau also received RM10,000 each.

Mong also thanked the residents of Rumah Francis Dublin for supporting Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) in the recent 12th state election.

Also present was Sri Aman Division deputy Resident Elvis Didit.
