KUCHING: A road accident involving two lorries occurred today (Nov 2) at Batu 15, Jalan Kuching-Serian, injuring one driver.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call at 1.35 pm and immediately dispatched a team from the Siburan Fire Station.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the driver of one lorry trapped in the vehicle, complaining of abdominal pain.
The crew swiftly extricated the injured driver with the assistance of the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team.
After providing initial medical treatment on-site, the injured driver was transported to the hospital.
Firefighters also took necessary safety precautions, including flushing the accident scene to mitigate any potential hazards.
