KUCHING: The Mayor of Kuching South City Council (MBKS), Datuk Wee Hong Seng and his team affirmed their commitment to improve the healthcare facilities at Tanah Putih Health Clinic after they visited the clinic recently.

In a press statement by MBKS, Wee raised his concerns about the uncomfortable conditions of the clinic.

Taking a decisive action and working together to address and resolve the issues, the mayor and his team sought support from the Love Book Association, which is a dedicated local non-governmental organisation (NGO).

“Within a short period of time, the association responded with their fullest and encouraging support by providing four new air-conditioning units to enhance the air quality and comfort for the people visiting the clinic,” the statement added.

Additionally, the association’s technical team have also dedicated 12-days of their time and expertise to do an overhaul of the existing air-conditioning systems, including a comprehensive servicing and replacing the necessary faulty parts, with a total cost nearing RM30,000.
