KUCHING: Residents staying on higher grounds today said there was a substantial drop in their water pressure.
Some even said there was no water at all from their pipers.
The supply interruption was caused by an SEB power outage at 12.30am, according to Kuching Water Board (KWB).
As of 4am, all pumps were already operating and the pressure was gradually building up.
KWB did mobilise water tankers to affected areas to help provide temporary water supplies, and the agency apologised for any inconvenience caused.
