SRI AMAN: Communities in Lubok Antu parliamentary seat will give their full support to its incumbent, Jugah Muyang, to continue contesting in the 15th general election (GE15).
According to Tuai Rumah Panjang Tisak Ili, Skrang, Tracy, she is very grateful to Jugah for the development that has been given to their village over the years.
“Jugah Muyang is a leader who has the spirit of the people and is always sensitive to the problems that occur in his area.
“Therefore, we here insist that we will give full support to Jugah to continue to be the people’s representative for the P. 203 Lubok Antu parliamentary constituency,” she said in a statement that was shared on YB Jugah Muyang’s Fans Facebook page recently.
In the statement, it was also said that Jugah, an Independent MP has made a visit to the longhouse and officiated at the laying of the foundation ceremony for Tisak Ili longhouse, Skrang .
Tracy also expressed her gratitude and happiness for the visit and reminded her longhouse residents and the surrounding area to work together to repay the kindness that Jugah has showed all this while.
Besides Tracy, the community leaders present at the event also expressed their full support for Jugah to defend his seat in order to bring development more vigorously in line with the aspirations of the people in the area.
