Lubok Antu folk get RM125,000 in grants

SRI AMAN: Pakatan Harapan (PH) has allocated RM125,000 to help the infrastructure development and welfare of Lubok Antu folk.

The allocation covers RM100,000 to assist in the construction of houses, RM10,000 for Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK), RM5,000 for Women Bureau and RM10,000 for seven longhouses in Nanga Pengiling Batang Ai area in Lubok Antu.

Lubok Antu MP Jugah Muyang said he also welcomed the community leaders, councillors, village chiefs, Tuai Rumah and people in Sarawak to be involved in the Majlis Pemimpin Pakatan Harapan (PH).

“We will use this opportunity to discuss and exchange views to hear the voice of the people in Lubok Antu,” he said during the Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat programme held at the new location of Rumah Nanga Mengiling in Batang Ai, Lubok Antu recently.

The event was organised by JKKK Rumah Intang and JKKK Rumah Sabang Batang Ai in Lubok Antu.

Jugah appealed to the people to work together and cooperate with each other regardless of political ideology.
