KUCHING: The districts of Lubok Antu and Telang Usan are now green zones.
This after no locally transmitted case of Covid-19 was detected or reported in the two districts in the past 14 days.
Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said Samarahan and Subis had returned to yellow.
“Samarahan District recorded 17 cases while Subis recorded 18 locally transmitted cases in the past 14 days.
“Meanwhile, Lundu, Beluru, Kapit, Song, Dalat, Bintulu, Kanowit, Miri and Sibu remain red as a total of 1,927 locally transmitted cases were reported in the last 14 days.”
Kuching, Selangau, Sri Aman, Matu and Bau are still orange zones with 125 locally transmitted cases reported in the last 14 days.
Betong, Saratok, Sarikei, Daro, Sebauh, Lawas, Bukit Mabong, Tatau, Pakan, Serian, Belaga, Meradong, Julau and Simunjan are also still yellow zones with 112 locally transmitted cases reported in the last 14 days.
SDMC also revealed that there were 10 districts listed as green zones.
On another note, Sarawak recorded no new cluster on Monday (Feb 8), maintaining the tally of active clusters at 15.
There was no new case recorded for the Jun Heng Cluster in Bintulu, Bintang Daily Cluster in Meradong, Jalan Pengiran Cluster in Matu, Bedayan Cluster in Serian and Bukit Sekubong Cluster in Sebauh.
Indah Riang Cluster, Keranji Tabuan Cluster and Stutong Cluster in Kuching District as well as Rakut Cluster, Jelita Cluster and Bah Sayap Cluster in Miri also did not record any new case.
However, Seruas Cluster in Beluru, Sebangkoi Cluster in Sri Aman and Tabong Cluster in Bau recorded two new cases respectively.
Pasai Cluster in Sibu only recorded four new cases, which increased the total number of cases in the cluster to 2,363.
