KUCHING: The Sarawak Energy e-Bill lucky draw saw 250 subscribers selected as winners, where each recipient will receive a RM50 electricity bill cash rebate.

In a press statement issued by Sarawak Energy recently, the RM50 electricity bill cash rebate will be credited to the subscriber’s next bill in their registered electricity contract account.

“All 250 winners will be notified via their e-Bill subscription registered email address.

“A list of the winners is also available on Sarawak Energy’s website at https://www.sarawakenergy.com.

“The lucky draw is held every quarter in appreciation of Sarawak Energy’s e-Bill subscribers supporting its Go Paperless e-Bill Campaign, which was launched in 2021 as part of the group’s commitment to environmental sustainability and its goal to become a digital utility by 2025,” the statement said.

The statement added that with electronic billing, subscribers will also contribute to environmental sustainability by removing the need for paper bills and enjoy the convenience of searching, accessing, paying, and storing their electricity bills without the paper clutter.

To date, Sarawak Energy has more than 185,000 customers who have subscribed to the e-Bill service.

Subscribers will also enjoy a RM2 rebate on their monthly electricity bills for a period of 12 months upon successful registration.

All subscribers are automatically included in the quarterly lucky draws, with 250 winners receiving RM50 electricity bill cash rebates each quarter.

Previous lucky draw winners can still participate in the subsequent rounds, provided they remain subscribed to the e-Bill service and meet all other eligibility requirements, the statement added.

To subscribe to Sarawak Energy’s e-Bill service, customers can perform self-registration via the ‘SEB cares’ mobile application, available in the App Store and Google Play, or fill in the registration form via www.sarawakenergy.com.
