LUNDU: Dilapidated healthcare facilities in Lundu district needs immediate upgrading works for the convenience and safety of the local community.
Deputy Minister of Health, Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni was well informed regarding the outdated and dilapidated healthcare facilities in Lundu during his recent visit there.
Among the healthcare facilities he visited were the Biawak Health Clinic, Lundu Hospital, Sampadi Health Clinic, and Stoh-Rambungan Health Clinic.
All of these healthcare facilities were among those raised by Opar assemblyman, Billy Sujang and Tanjong Datu assemblyman, Azizul Annuar Adenan in the recent State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sessions.
Both of them have raised the concern for the healthcare facilities that require immediate attention from relevant authorities.
He reiterated that it was necessary to have good healthcare facilities that are comfortable and safe for the community.
Also present were Opar assemblyman, Billy and the director of Sarawak State Health Department, Dr. Veronica Lugah.
