KUCHING: The Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA 63) Steering Committee meeting scheduled for Monday will be usual business in Putrajaya.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said the meeting, to be chaired by the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, will just be a continuation of what had arisen from the last meeting.
“The only thing I have received was the notice to go for the meeting; nothing else was mentioned in the agenda,” he said in a press conference after the closing ceremony of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) 2019 Convention at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) yesterday.
“I’ll just go there and see what the papers to be presented are, then we go from there,” he said.
On complaints that the meetings are just talks only, Abang Johari said: “I’ll let the people be the judge. I can’t say anything because we have the chairman (Dr Mahathir) there. We just go there as directed by him.”
