KUANTAN: The Pahang Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) yesterday detained a female administrative assistant to help in the investigations involving 32 allegations of making false claims amounting to RM209,233, since 2014.
In a statement issued here yesterday, state MACC director Mohamad Fauzi Husin said the suspect, 33, was detained at the Pahang MACC office this afternoon after she went there to help in the investigations.
“The suspect was believed to have made the claims by submitting medical forms and receipts which are alleged to be connected to purchasing fertility drugs in a hospital here from 2014 until last year,” he said.
