KUCHING: Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Latheefa Koya yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.
The visit, which lasted for about half an hour, discussed among others, services offered by MACC to facilitate declaration of assets by Sarawak state assemblymen as proposed in Parliament. The services offered include developing a more transparent system for asset declaration.
Latheefa’s first meeting with the chief minister after her appointment as MACC chief commissioner was part of her one-day official visit here.
She arrived here yesterday afternoon and departed for Kuala Lumpur yesterday night.
Accompanying her during the visit was MACC Sarawak Razim Mohd Noor.
