SIBU: Machan assemblyman Allan Siden Gramong extended support to an elderly woman at Rumah Panjang (Rh) Margaret Ugak in Sungai Lukut by donating a wheelchair.
The recipient was Clo Usu, aged 82.
Clo has been grappling with bone tuberculosis and has lost her vision.
“Clo and her family expressed their gratitude to Allan for his help in assisting their family,” said a statement issued here yesterday.
The donation was presented by the ‘Skuad Kasih Sayang’ of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women’s Wing, led by Belala Empawie and others.
Also present during the wheelchair handover was Councillor Graji Layau, who is also a member of Rh Margaret Ugak’s Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK).
