BINTULU: Kampung Haji Ismail, situated in Kuala Tatau, has been chosen to represent the Bintulu Division in the Madani Village Aspirations Award (ADM).

This acknowledgement is a testament to the villagers’ hard work and their leaders’ commitment to ensuring sustainable development and community well-being.

The evaluation ceremony was graced by the presence of Jepak Assemblyman, Iskandar Turkee, on Tuesday.

In his address, Iskandar expressed his gratitude to the Village Chief, Jus@Musa Seruji, and all the members of the Kampung Haji Ismail Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) for their dedication to advancing the village.

“I am profoundly thankful to Village Chief Jus@Musa and all the JKKK members of Kampung Haji Ismail for their tireless efforts in ensuring the village continues to progress and thrive. This achievement is the outcome of hard work by everyone,” he remarked.

He also extended special thanks to Penghulu Haliza Mudin, who played a significant role in the development of Kampung Haji Ismail and conveyed his appreciation for her contributions to the local community.

Simultaneously, Iskandar took the opportunity to inspect the ongoing road paving project in the village.

This project is part of the state government’s initiatives to improve infrastructure and accessibility in rural areas.
