KUCHING: Maggi has partnered with Food Aid Foundation (FAF) and Malaysia Association for the Blind (MAB) to distribute over 120,000 bowls of ‘Maggi Bubur Lambuk’ (porridge) to more than 200 locations nationwide.

In a statement, Maggi said among others, ‘bubur lambuk’ would be given to B40 families, orphanages, welfare homes and charitable organisations throughout the month of Ramadan.

This year’s recipients would also include the homeless, people with disabilities as well as healthcare workers and frontliners.

Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad chief executive officer Juan Arnols said the company was proud to support those in need through various CSR programmes such as this ‘bubur lambuk’ initiative, which symbolised the spirit of sharing during Ramadan.

Separately, Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad business executive officer Geetha Balakrishna said: “Maggi is committed to sharing solace and tasty homemade food to create warm moments that provide comfort to Malaysians during this meaningful period.”

“We are definitely excited to uphold this tradition for yet another year in the month of Ramadan,” she added.
