TAIPEI: A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck eastern Taiwan’s Hualien County at 3.53pm today, according to the Central Weather Administration (CWA).
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, reported Central News Agency (CNA).
The epicentre of the quake was located at sea off Hualien County, about 70.2 km east of Hualien County Hall, at a depth of 7.2 km, according to the administration.– BERNAMA-CNA
