PADAWAN: The Padawan Sub-District Office becomes the first district in Sarawak to publish the Guidebook for the Administration of Community Leaders and Village Chiefs (KMKK).
The guidebook was launched in the District Office on Tuesday.
According to Deputy Minister of Transport (Aviation and Road) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, the book could be utilised as a guide to KMKK in implementing the governance of their respective villages.
“This book could guide the chiefs for a better and effective ways to carry out any activity, financial management, proper governance and others,” he said.
He said this when speaking at the handing over ceremony of the Guidebook for Padawan sub district KMKK administration recently.
The book contains six important parts that will be used as a guide to KMKK in the Padawan sub-district which aims to provide knowledge on the needs of KMKK and JKKK services in managing administration.
