CORONAVIRUS WATCH

DALAT: Constituents in Mukah have been advised to continuously maintain good hygiene and cleanliness as a preventive measure in the wake of the current coronavirus epidemic.

Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib explained that as the virus was reported to be new and no vaccine was currently available to treat it, people should be very careful and take preventive measures against it.

“If one catches a cold, seek immediate medical treatment and isolate oneself,” she told reporters after officiating at the opening of Dalat Riverfront gazebo’s mural here yesterday.

On the shortage of face masks in Mukah, she suggested that pharmacies, retailers and suppliers to get enough stock.

It was reported that the Mukah market is currently facing a shortage of face mask.

She hoped that sellers and suppliers would not take advantage of the current shortage to raise the price of face masks here.
