KANOWIT: Ngemah assemblyman Anyi Jana has urged his constituents to maintain their strong support for the state government led by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).
In stating this, he said that the support from the people is crucial in securing a good development plan, especially for rural areas in the Ngemah constituency.
“It is also important for the residents to continue giving their full support by endorsing the policies and development initiatives of the GPS government,” he added.
He said this at the Minor Rural Project (MRP) cheque handover ceremony for his constituency, recently.
Anyi further encouraged all grant recipients, especially the longhouse chiefs, to inform the longhouse residents about the allocated budget.
“The longhouse chiefs and the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) must also collaborate on managing the MRP funds and focus on planning that will positively impact the longhouse communities,” said Anyi.
During the ceremony, he presented the Phase 2 MRP grant cheque for 2024, totalling RM153,000, which was distributed among 27 JKKKs within the constituency area.
