KUCHING: A Singaporean comedian, Kumarason Chinnadurai or popularly known as Kumar will be in the city for one of his stops for his Malaysian Tour on Oct 6.
According to Kumar, in his Facebook post recently, besides Kuching, another stop would be in Kota Kinabalu.
“It’s a very special show that brings the other side, the “Rowdy Kumar” side of my personality.
“And I’m very excited to come back to Borneo as they’re extra welcoming for me to perform there,” he said.
He also said that tickets are on sale from Sept 7 at 12pm on https://lolasia.bigtix.io.
Limited early bird discounts are available on a first come first served basis.
The show will be on Oct 6, 8pm at Pullman Hotel while tickets are from RM129 (early bird price).
The next show will be on Oct 7, 8pm at Le Meridien Hotel, Kota Kinabalu and tickets are from RM171 (early bird price).
The new comedy will feature Kumar who takes on the insensible world in the most ruthless style in a brand new comedy special “Rowdy Kumar”.
Kumar’s unflinching comedic style will tackle all the topics racing in one’s minds today, epidemics, lockdowns, irrational pop culture, knotty relationships and more.
Especially for avid fans, Kumar will share personal stories of growing up in Singapore as an awkward child working to fend off bullies, manifesting Rowdy Kumar to hilarious effect.
Kumar is hailed as one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic and respected performing artistes and a brilliant stand-up comedian.
