KUCHING: The students are urged to take full advantage of the terrestrial education TV channel, Ministry of Education’s DidikTV (DidikTV KPM), in ensuring the effective implementation of home-based learning method.
Sarawak Teachers Bumiputera Union (KGBS) president Ahmad Malie said the newly lauched TV channel will be able to enhance the students’ understanding in their education while learning from home.
“The Union believes that the programme could at least assist and strengthen the teachers’ role in delivering knowledge to the students amidst facing the Covid-19 pandemic at present.
“Therefore, we urge the students to make full use of this alternative medium in ensuring that the implementation of home-based learning will be more fun and effective,” he said in a statement today.
DidikTV KPM was launched by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Wednesday.
It can be viewed through channel 107 on MYTV, 147 on Astro and ntv7 on Unifi TV from 7am to midnight daily.
