KUCHING: Saratok MP Datuk Ali Biju recently visited Kabong Police Station Hall and Sri Krian Hall in Saratok, both of which will be used as vaccination centres (PPV) for teenagers aged 16 to 17.

The vaccination programme began yesterday with appointments set by the respective schools.

“The purpose of my visit is to ensure the readiness of the centres so that the vaccination of students will run smoothly,” he said.

At the same time, Ali also expressed his readiness to assist both centres in any manner possible.

“I urge parents, especially residents of Kabong and Saratok, to contact the schools or the District Education Office regarding the appointment slots for their children,” he said.

He noted that the state in general and Saratok constituency in particular, have succeeded in achieving herd immunity as at least 80 percent of the adults has been fully vaccinated.
