MUKAH: A program called Wanita Semarak Bangsa was successfully held at Mukah Community Based Rehabilitation Centre (PDK Mukah), here, on Wednesday.

The event which was meant for the disabled (OKUs) and trainees at the centre was organised by Women section of Sarawak Government Services Welfare & Recreational Council (MAKSAK Mukah Division).

The program kicked-off at about 8am and among the activities held were fitness exercises and telematch featuring various light games. Besides the trainees and staff attached to the centre, the event also involved the MAKSAK members headed by its Deputy Chairwoman, Nur Safawani.

The program ended with the dinner cum prize presentation ceremony at a leading restaurant in Mukah Town, located about three kilometers away from PDK Mukah.
