KUCHING: Christians are invited to participate in the annual Malaysia Day prayers, ‘Malaysia Day of Prayer’, which will be live-streamed on Sept 16.
According to a Facebook post, the event is to commemorate the formation of Malaysia.
“We invite you to come together virtually (and physically for those who are able to attend the event in person) for a day filled with worship, intercession, reflection, unity and hope.
“Malaysia Day of Prayer 2023 offers us the opportunity to pause, unite, and collectively sent our praises to God and our prayers for the well-being of our nation and its people.
“This event will bring together Christians from all walks of life, transcending boundaries and backgrounds, to strengthen the bonds that make Malaysia a truly unique, beautiful and diverse country,” organisers Council of Churches of Malaysia said in their post.
