KUCHING: A total of 50 paintball players from all over Sarawak took part in the 3×3 Mambong Paintball Club (KPM) Second Series tournament last Sunday (May 22).
Kidurong Paintball Club (KPK) manager Johnson Lee said the competition was a warm-up before the Sarawak Paintball League Second Series Championship on June 25 and 26 in Bintulu.
Organiser Morshidi Abdullah said the mini tournament was used to hone the skills of the players as well as give them exposure.
The day-long competition was divided into two categories — Division E and Division M. KPK won Division E while Avengers were champions of Division M.
Both teams brought home RM800 cash along with trophies and medals.
A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament that saw 68 exciting matches in the two categories.
Second place in Division E went to Bombastic Army, Red finished third while Genin were fourth.
The runners-up in Division M were Setiaraja Waxers while third and fourth were Cartel De Rosa and GGM respectively.
