KUCHING: Police have arrested a local man suspected of having broken into an office at MJC Batu Kawa on Sunday morning.

Padawan district police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said that the 24-year-old suspect was picked up by police at 10.40am.

“In a police report made on April 7, the complainant said that her office was broken into, and the man arrested was suspected of committing the crimes.

“It was also reported that three air conditioners, a wireless WiFi router and a desktop computer were stolen,” he said in a statement.

During questioning, the suspect who has a criminal record did not admit to breaking into said office.

Aidil stated that the man was then sent to the Siburan police station and is being remanded for further investigation.
