MIRI: A 45 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal intimidation on his parents yesterday evening.
The man was believed to have hit and injured both his elderly parents during a quarrel inside their house in Krokop around 6.45pm.
A police report has been lodged by the man’s mother at Miri Central Police station (CPS).
Following the report lodged, a team from Miri Criminal Investigation Department (CID) picked up the man from the house in Krokop later that night around 8.45pm.
The case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for Criminal intimidation.
