KUCHING: A labourer was arrested for attempting to break into a house at Taman Sentoria, Kota Samarahan at 11.40am on Thursday. Samarahan district police chief DSP Lee Chong Chern confirmed that police received a report regarding the incident.
Patrolling police who went to the area found the suspect who tried to flee when he saw them. He was arrested and detained.
The suspect, aged 29, is a labourer from Kampung Tabuan, Jalan Foochow. A motorcycle was also seized and police are checking to find if it is a stolen machine or not.
