KUCHING: A local man was arrested for allegedly breaking into an office in MJC Batu Kawa yesterday (Oct 30).
Padawan district police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan stated the 31-year-old suspect was arrested at 4.30am by a Padawan patrol unit.
“When the unit arrived, they found that the suspect was already arrested. The arrest also led to the seizure of a dagger (keris) and a pair of headphone,” he said in a statement.
Background checks found that the suspect had three previous criminal records for drugs.
Aidil noted that the suspect is currently placed in Siburan lock-up pending further action.
The case is being investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code.
