SARIKEI: Police arrested a local man for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Bintangor recently.
Meradong police chief DSP Sekam Anoi said the 33-year-old was picked up by a team from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in Kampung Baru Sarikei.
“The suspect is currently remanded for three days to facilitate investigations.
“Background checks showed that the suspect had three prior records,” he said.
Also seized from the suspect were his clothes and the stolen motorcycle, believed to be the stolen vehicle.
