KUCHING: An argument erupted between two road users on Jalan Satok, heading toward Petra Jaya, following a traffic accident today.

In a 24-second video shared by a passing driver on the Sarawak Roads Update Facebook page, a man is seen wielding a baseball bat and shouting angrily at another individual.

The clip, posted just four hours ago, has quickly gained traction, amassing 64,000 views and around 209 shares. The incident has sparked a range of comments and discussions among viewers.

“When you start swinging something with the intent to use it as a weapon against someone, you’re setting yourself up for serious consequences, even death.

“The victim can file a police report immediately, and even if you’re at fault for the car accident, the charges can shift to assault,” said a Facebook user.

Meanwhile another Facebook user stated that this situation sometimes forces those who want to take responsibility to flee out of fear of being attacked.

It’s understandable if someone flees after causing an accident, but if they stopped and want to take responsibility, there’s no need for others to resort to violence.
