SIBU: A man was killed instantly when the four-wheel drive (4WD) he was driving was involved in an accident at Jalan Wong King Huo here yesterday.
Sibu district police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said the incident happened around 5.53 pm.
“The 48-year-old victim lost control of his vehicle near a traffic light intersection before it hit another four-wheel drive on his right before ramming into the back of a car and going down into the drain,” he said in a statement today.
Zulkipli said the victim was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1981.
