KUCHING: A local man who pleaded guilty to trespassing on a quarry area belonging to Cahaya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMS) Quarry was fined RM1,300 or two weeks jail yesterday.
Lee Kok Hui, 33, from Taman Sinn Juak Jalan Foochow was sentenced after pleading guilty under section 447 of the Penal Code.
Lee broke into the CMS Quary area at 8.30pm on April 21 without permission. The accused paid the fine.
The case was prosecuted by Inspector Adzmei Ahmad and the case was mentioned before Magistrate Syarifah Fatimah Azura Wan Ali.
