PADAWAN: A local man was found dead behind a supermarket in Malihah, Jalan Batu Kawa this morning (May 14).
The discovery was made by members of the public, who quickly alerted the authorities.
Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi confirmed that they received a report regarding the incident at 7.23 am.
A team from the Padawan Criminal Investigation Division (CID), along with the Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK) Forensics team, was dispatched to the scene.
“Examinations found that the deceased is a 37-year-old local man. No signs of foul play were detected at the scene,” he said.
The deceased was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for post-mortem.
The case has been classified as a sudden death.
