MIRI: A man’s body was discovered inside a car parked in front of a supermarket in Tudan in the early hours of this morning.

According to Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Miri acting chief senior fire Supt Ahmad Nizam Sapaiee, the 32-year-old male identified as Mohd Endi Anong was found unconscious inside a locked car.

He said several people, who were suspicious of the incident around 2.46am, immediately alerted the police and them.

“Upon arrival, a team of firemen from Lopeng fire station use a special tool to unlock the victim’s car doors, as ordered by the police.

“The victim was pronounced dead by the medical team, who were also at the scene, as the doors opened,” he added.

The operation ended at 3.48am and the body was handed over to the police for further investigation.
