BETONG: A man was found dead inside a pickup truck at an open space along Jalan Tisak today.
A spokesman for Civil Defence Force (APM) Betong said they received an emergency call regarding a man trapped inside his vehicle.
Following that, a team was despatched to the scene and they confirmed the situation and that the man was unconscious in the front passenger seat.
The team proceeded to dig out the keys that were on the dashboard from the windshield by using a rescue hook.
Once the door was opened, examinations were performed and they found that the victim had no pulse and was lying stiffly on the seat.
The team quickly alerted Betong Hospital and the police for further assistance to confirm the victim’s condition.
Paramedics who arrived at the scene, later confirmed that the victim had died and the body was handed over to the police for transportation to Betong Hospital.
Police are now in the process of investigating case.
