KUCHING: A man was sentenced to death by the Kuching High Court today after he was found guilty of drug trafficking.
Wan Ming Swee, 39, was found guilty of trafficking 276.9g of methamphetamine at a car park at Kota Sentosa here.
He committed the offence at 12.30pm on Jan 15.
He was charged under Section 39B(1)(a) and Section 39B(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
However, no plea was taken from the accused.
