KUCHING: A 30-year-old intoxicated man who went berserk and caused damages in his mother’s house was fined RM500 here Wednesday.
Abdul Manaf Hamden pleaded guilty before Assistant Court Registrar Zubaidah Sharkawi, who sat as a magistrate, to damaging the kitchen wall of the house in December last year.
Zubaidah ordered him to serve a month behind bars should he fail to pay his fine.
Abdul Manaf committed the offence at their residence in Kampung Tabuan Cemerlang, Jalan Setia Raja around 3am on Dec 5, 2022.
Insp Nur Syafiqa Nyaie Ilin prosecuted.
